PORT HURON, MI. — The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) women's basketball team begins its postseason run on Tuesday, March 3, as the East No. 2 Skippers (21-8, 12-2 MCCAA) host the East No. 5 seed Wayne County Community College District in the NJCAA Great Lakes District B Quarterfinal at the SC4 Fieldhouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The winner advances to the District B Semifinals, which will be held at Mott Community College on Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. The District Championship is set for Sunday, March 8 at 4:00 p.m., also at Mott CC.
The champion of the Great Lakes District B Tournament earns an automatic bid to the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship, held March 16–21 in Hickory, North Carolina.
SC4 enters the postseason following a strong regular season that included a 12–2 conference record and the No. 3 overall seed in the district. The Skippers aim to return to the national stage and continue building on their momentum in front of a home crowd.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and help pack the Fieldhouse for postseason basketball.
