Port Huron, MI — The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) men's basketball team battled through a competitive game one of the Skippers Holiday Classic.
SC4 opened the weekend with a dramatic 78-77 victory over Lakeland Community College in a game that came down to the wire. The Skippers built a commanding 48-26 halftime lead, fueled by hot shooting and aggressive defense. Lakeland mounted a furious second-half comeback, outscoring SC4 51-30, but the Skippers held on until the buzzer for the one-point win.
De'Andre Terrell led SC4 with 16 points, shooting 6-of-10 from the field and adding 9 rebounds. Riley Hunt contributed 11 points while Kevin Tiggs added 9 points and 9 rebounds off the bench.
This win moves the Skipper's record to 5-4 overall.
SC4 will take on Cuyahoga CC at home tomorrow at 5:00 PM.
