Port Huron, MI. — The inaugural men's SC4 Thumbcoast Tip Off delivered an exciting weekend of basketball action, showcasing talent from across the region and beyond. Monroe Community College emerged as the tournament champion, finishing with a perfect 3-0 record.
Macomb Community College claimed the runner-up spot, while Parkland College secured third place. Host team St. Clair County Community College (SC4) battled hard and finished fourth. Bryant & Stratton College rounded out the top five, followed by Coastal Alabama in sixth place. Mid Michigan College placed seventh, and Marian University–Plymouth completed the field in eighth.
This year's event featured schools from six different states, with players representing 18 states and seven countries, making the Thumbcoast Tip-Off a truly diverse and competitive showcase. Fans were treated to high-level matchups, standout performances, and a glimpse of rising talent.
SC4 Athletic Director Dale Vos praised the event's success: "The Thumbcoast Tip Off brought together great teams and created an incredible atmosphere for players and fans alike. We're excited to build on this tournament for years to come."
