Port Huron, Mich. —The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) men's basketball team delivered a dominant performance in a doubleheader sweep, defeating their opponents 48-25 in game one and 59-18 in game two.
In the opener, Jimmy Moceri led the way with 21 points, while Justin Owens recorded his first career double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points. Newcomer Charlie Flynn made an immediate impact in his debut, scoring 8 points. Defensively, Jacob Szezenpanski and Peter Ma were instrumental in creating turnovers that led to fast-break opportunities and easy buckets.
Game two was all about the dynamic duo of Justin Owens and Jimmy Moceri. Owens posted his second double-double of the day with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Moceri exploded for a triple-double, scoring 30 points, dishing out 10 assists, and grabbing 11 rebounds in a commanding win.
After a tough outing at the Wolverine Invitational, the Skippers have bounced back with confidence and are now focused on bringing the Seymour Cup back to Port Huron — where they believe it belongs.
