MT. PLEASANT, MI. — The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) men's bowling team delivered a strong performance on Friday at the Mid Michigan Bowling Invite, earning a third‑place team finish with a total score of 4,451.
The Skippers were led by a standout performance by freshman Donovan Germain, who placed 3rd overall with an impressive 673 series, highlighted by games of 254, 216, and 203. His 254 game stood as the high game of the event and helped set the competitive tone for SC4.
Joining him near the top of the standings was Justin Bisby, who earned 6th place with a 642 series (161, 245, 236). Bisby's consistent scoring provided a major boost to the Skippers' team total.
SC4 continued to show excellent depth, placing three more bowlers inside the top 20:
- Anderson Barnette — 10th place, 623 series (231, 199, 193)
- Sawyer Rosberg — 18th place, 559 series (168, 185, 206)
- Trevor Brockley — 20th place, 542 series (187, 184, 171)
The Skippers' strong individual performances translated into a competitive team finish, backed by solid Baker scores of 383, 335, 347, and 330.
SC4 will return to action next week as they compete for the MCCAA Championship at Merri-Bowl Lanes in Livonia, MI.
